HOW DO THE FEES WORK?

Joining and starting a shop on SWOPMEET is free.
There are only two basic selling fees: a transaction fee and a payment processing fee.

It is free to publish a listing to the marketplace.
A listing lasts until the item is sold.
Once an item sells, there is a transaction fee on the sale price (including the shipping price you set). To view current transaction fees click here.

All fees are in AUD.

WHAT DO I NEED TO CREATE A SHOP?

It’s simple! Create an account, sign up as a vendor, add your billing and shipping information, and start adding products!

WHAT CAN I SELL?

We aim to have a marketplace that showcases the best vintage goods in Australia. Because of this we request you only sell articles of clothing that are in good, wearable condition.

HOW DO I GET PAID FROM MY SALES?

Our checkout partner PayPal provides the gateway for payments. When a buyer purchases something from your store the funds will be temporarily held by SWOPMEET & PayPal until they are dispersed into your nominated PayPal account. This process may occur anywhere from 1 hour to 3 business days and is set up this way to protect our buyers from fraudulent sales.

DO I NEED A CREDIT/DEBIT CARD TO SELL?

No, a credit or debit card is not required to create a shop. But you do require an active PayPal account.
